Who We Are

Tomra Oregon, formerly CBSI, is an American producer of reverse vending machines (RVMs) and systems. The company has been headquartered in Portland, Oregon since 1992 and is now a wholly owned subsidiary of Tomra North America. We design, produce and market various machine platforms for can and bottle deposit redemption and recycling. Our customers include convenience stores, supermarkets, big box stores and redemption centers.

Tomra Oregon is continually involved with the design and development of new technologies and systems for automating the redemption of used beverage containers (UBCs). Our products have consistently provided customers with durable, efficient and cost effective solutions that match UBC redemption volumes, pick up agency requirements and make the most of space limitations.
